“I was deeply impressed by the workshop of an air-conditioner enterprise in Liujiang. The high level of mechanization ensures not only product uniformity and standardization but also a significant boost in quality and efficiency, giving consumers full confidence in their purchases. We will leverage our media platforms to the fullest to promote these products and ensure that more people become aware of and use Liujiang’s ‘Intelligent Manufacturing’ products.” said Liu Xiaoguang, Co-Chairman of the Cambodia-China Journalists Association, recently.

Recently, the “Linking Liujiang to the World—2025 Overseas Media Visit on BRI Industrial Development Tour” was held in Liujiang District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi. The event was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee, Liujiang District Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liuzhou City, and China News Service (Beijing)International Communication Group Co., Ltd., Guangxi Branch.
More than 20 journalists from overseas media outlets and influential online content creators from countries including the United States, Italy, Sweden, Argentina, Pakistan, Ireland, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia participated in the event. They visited the Liuzhou Longgon Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park and representative foreign trade enterprises in Liujiang District, such as Liuzhou Zhige Air Conditioning Co., Ltd, Liuzhou Guiqiao Cable Co., Ltd, and Guangxi Meishenyuan Food Technology Group Co., Ltd. Through their lenses and writings, they documented the dynamic practices of Liujiang’s industries expanding globally and gained a comprehensive understanding of the new achievements in the region’s open development.
Liuzhou is a major industrial hub in southwest China. Liujiang District possesses a robust manufacturing foundation and is one of the counties with the most developed private economy in Guangxi. It has established a “332” industrial system: three pillar industries—automotive and parts, machinery manufacturing, and food processing; three strategic emerging industries—advanced equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, and intelligent home appliances & electronic information; and two traditional industries—building materials and prestressed materials.

Driven by the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Industrial Internet, Liujiang is vigorously advancing intelligent manufacturing, establishing smart factories and digital workshops. This empowers enterprises to enhance quality and efficiency, realizing the transition from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing.”
Liuzhou Zhige Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. signed an agreement in January 2024 to establish its new manufacturing base in Liujiang District. The company now boasts four state-of-the-art fully automated assembly lines, with an annual production capacity exceeding over 3 million units. Company leaders indicated that production schedules are already planned through March 2026. Between January and September of this year, the company reported a production value of RMB 450 million, reflecting a remarkable year-on-year growth of 107.6%. Its products are now exported to over 40 countries and regions, including South America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Liuzhou Guiqiao Cable Co., Ltd. is among the earliest enterprises in China to specialize in manufacturing bridge cables. The company has developed a “Smart Cable” system that offers round-the-clock and all-around intelligent monitoring and protection for bridge structural safety, utilizing a three-tier collaborative architecture of Sensing – Transmission – Cloud. According to Chairman Su Qiao, the company has established a modern cable production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons, complemented by advanced environmental protection facilities. Its products are exported to countries such as Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, and Côte d’Ivoire.
In recent years, Liuzhou has garnered international attention by turning a bowl of snail rice noodles (Luosifen) into a billion-dollar industry. Guangxi Meishenyuan Food Technology Group Co., Ltd., located in the Xinxing Industrial Park of Liujian District, serves as a key hub for the export of Luosifen. Inside the company’s workshop, machines hum and workers in uniforms expertly carry out processes like ingredient preparation, packaging, and quality control.
“I love Liujian, and Luosifen is delicious,” said a member of the media delegation during their tour of Guangxi Meishenyuan Food Technology Group Co., Ltd. They were intrigued by the standardized production workshop for snail rice noodles, experiencing the packaging process firsthand and tasting authentic Liuzhou Luosifen. The fresh and spicy flavor left a lasting impression on everyone. Luke, a social media influencer from Ireland, commented, “While I can buy Liuzhou Luosifen in Ireland, tasting them here in their place of origin is an entirely different experience. Liujian has successfully transformed local specialties into global bestsellers; this is a highly successful industrial model.” (End)
